Exercise and Supplements – What You Need for Optimal Performance and Support

As part of the Warrior Recovery Program at The Karlfeldt Center, which includes spine care, hyperbaric oxygen chamber and IV nutrition, we also recommend powerful antioxidant and anti-inflammatory components for competition or stressful events.

Vitamin C and glutathione are essential and we offer them in a lipospheric form, meaning they come in a lipid package, and is very easily absorbed. It’s not as optimal as IV form, but almost as potent and effective to administer in between IV (intravenous) sessions. 

Vitamin C IV or Vitamin C, is a powerful antioxidant and electron donor around the cells and powerful antioxidant, glutathione is an electron donor within the cell and supplies the body with energy and recovery, and supports tissue repair and reducing inflammation:

  • Boswellia complex from Medi-Herb:  herbal support from ginger, turmeric and Frankincense; powerful anti inflammatories to speed recovery after hard physical workout. 
  • Standard Process offers Ligaplex I for acute inflammation and pain, and Ligaplex II for chronic inflammation and pain, and provides powerful tissue inflammation.  These important nutrients provide ligament and muscle support including Vitamin A, Vitamin B, Vitamin C, Vitamin B12, and minerals Calcium, Phosphorus and Manganese from living, whole food sources.
