Applied Psycho-Neurobiology (APN) is a practical process of healing the impact of an emotionally difficult event.

An emotionally charged event or belief, like feeling abandoned as a child by a parent, losing a loved one, going through a divorce, being involved in an accident, experiencing abuse, feeling that your voice wasn’t heard, or that you were never good enough can have a strong impact on your health, behavior, relationships, and choices.

A common coping mechanism is to suppress emotionally difficult events. If not resolved, these suppressed emotions can initiate physiological changes that can result in chronic diseases, cancer being a common example. For example, the stress of not having your voice heard when you were young could manifest as a thyroid disorder later on in life. These emotionally difficult events can be passed on from parent to child.

Benefit of Applied Psycho-Neurobiology

Applied Psycho-Neurobiology (APN) enables the practitioner to communicate with the subconscious to identify the unresolved emotion and its triggering event that led up to the dysfunction of the thyroid. The practitioner will then balance the thyroid in regards to the emotionally difficult event allowing the thyroid to start healing.

Anyone can benefit from Applied Psycho-Neurobiology and it is strongly suggested while dealing with any chronic health complaint. By combining other methods of healing with applied psycho-neurobiology (APN), the return to health will be quicker and the results will be more permanent.
